Subway® was founded by Fred DeLuca at 17

Subway® restaurants are individually owned and are operated by independent Franchise Owners, many of whom are local business men and women. The entrepreneurial spirit is not just our history, it's our future. What's yours?

    What do
    they say?

Started my career at Subway® 9 months ago as a Business Consultant with Subway® Development of Queensland and Northern Territory. Not coming from a Subway® back ground but having 30 years in business and hospitality I wanted to be a part of something exciting and unique, and I found it in Subway®. Having the opportunity to learn the Subway® system with incredible support from operations teams and mentors has been exceptional fulfilling and made my transition possible and rewarding. Working along-side staff from the DA office and interacting with Franchise owners has been priceless. The most enjoyable part of my role is being in the position to help others and to see them grow and be successful, whether it be as a Sandwich Artist™, manager or a new Franchise owner coming into the system. The future in Subway® is exciting with opportunities to advance with the brand and I am proud to be a part of that future and make it my career. More

    What do
    they say?

Subway® was my first ever job back in 2005, this year marks 14 years since I started with the brand. Before I turned 18, I was trained to complete the weekly inventory, read and correct a WISR, order stock and bake perfect bread. From a young age I was eager to learn how a Subway restaurant operated. In my 13 years at Subway® I have progressed from a Sandwich Artist™ through to a Business Consultant. I have now been a Business Consultant for 18 months and it has opened my eyes to a different side of the business I didn’t realise existed. Subway® makes me feel like I have a purpose, its my passion. There are many career pathways at Subway®, I am grateful for where it has led me. Follow your passion, and success will follow you. More

    What do
    they say?

I started my career at Subway® Morayfield in 2016 as a 16-year-old, it was my first job. Subway® gave me the opportunity to complete a certificate 3 in business which helped me achieve the OP I needed. Without completing the certificate 3 in business I would not have been eligible to get into my preferred University course. Accomplishing the certificate 3 in business has given me skills that I can use in a wide range of business-related roles. Next year I will commence my first year of University at the Sunshine Coast. Whilst completing my degree I will continue to work at Subway® as the hours and flexibility works in perfectly with my other commitments. I am very grateful to have supportive management and work mates behind me that can help me pursue my dreams. More
